Does anyone feel like they destroyed the Dec SAT?

I did abysmal on the Nov SAT. On that one, I was focused on math and thought I did relatively well. Then I came to this board and realized I had made MANY stupid mistakes. I ended up scoring the exact same as my first take! The December was my last chance to get into the average for my 1st choice, so I came with a gameplan.

My strategy for the most part was to REALLY pay attention on the details on the math. I always burn through and make mistakes. I realized how the ETS throws in countless tricks throughout the test. I omitted two questions and felt good about every other answer. A few verbals were tricky, but I dominated it for the most part. My CR startegy was to read questions first, and answer as I read. After the test, I came to this board and I haven’t found a question that I got wrong yet!

A few funny things from the class I was in. One girl left halfway through the test and said she wanted to cancel scores. Personally, I found it hilarious since I was killing the test and thought it was insanely easy. Another girl acted like she didn’t want to be there. Before the test even began, she asked if she could leave early. hahahaha, how ■■■■■■■■. Then she just bubbled in answers without even looking at the questions and finished each section within 5 minutes. I felt like getting and punching her for being an idiot.

But yeah, haha, I felt I did well. How about you guys?

I thought I killed the test too, but I found some STUPID mistakes I made. But I still killed the test after the stupid mistakes, cuz I’ve only found 3 wrong :)

Just to note something…
When I first took it, I thought I did great… Ended up doing like **** (comparing to what I expected)
Second time, I thought I did O.K. … Did way better than the first time and what I expected.

Knavish, I did something similar.

First take - Unprepared, felt like I did average. Ended up doing pretty decent

Second take - Focused completely on rasing math score. Felt I aced it. Came to this board and found out I did not

This being my third take, I finally had a grip on it. Mostly, I just made sure I paid really close attention to every detail in every question to ensure I didn’t make dumb mistakes. I came to this board and have yet to find a wrong answer on math or verbal, though I did omit two questions on the test.

wow how did you all study to kill the test?! share the wealth and give me some tips!! haha (congrats btw :))

First take: Totally unprepared. I had just got back from foreign exchange from Japan, resulting in very crappy verbal and math scores.

Second take: A little more prepared, but still UNPREPARED. Totally bombed the math, but ended up doing well on the verbal.

Third take: I thought I was prepared, but I don’t think I really was. I know I bombed the verbal this time and despite practicing for the math a lot, it seems like I got like 3-4 (aside from the 2 I omitted) wrong.

can someone tell me whether thequestions with the triangle and the possible lengths, and the question with the train and the size of the tunnel experimental?

also felt like i bombed it, probably studied a little too late and too much, so it was kind of tiring and stressful

7, 8, 9 possible length

Size of tunnel 1200 meter

No they were not experimental

I feel really good about this test too.
First test: I was so nervous and the place I took it didn’t make it any better. I bombed the Verbal section but I did fine in my math section.
Second test: So my only goal for this test was to raise my v score. Of course, I ended up getting 10 points less for verbal and 20 points higher for math. -_-
Third test (today): I actually didn’t study much until a week ago when I started to freak out. I knew CR section was what brought me down last two tests so I did nothing but CR practices for this whole week [btw.2-3hrs. per day for 7 days]

I think it did me good. =D

i thought the math was incredibly easy except for the one question on the 3 digit numbers…as soon as i got out of the test, realized the answer was 125(grid in question)
