<p>Yes, my friend’s daughter was rejected ED at University of Pennsylvania last year and she got quite a snippy letter that made it clear they would not welcome her in the RD pool. My friend called it the “have a nice life” letter. The daughter was accepted everywhere else she applied and is at Carnegie Mellon now.</p>
<p>Yes, I also know a guy in my class who was rejected ED at Dartmouth.</p>
<p>Quite a few people don’t post their rejections.</p>
