Does anyone have any advice with these colleges?

I have been accepted to these
Drexel($15,000 scholarship per year)
Emmanuel($15,000 scholarship per year)
UMASS Amherst(Commonwealth honors college, $2,000 scholarship per year, and free tuition)
UMASS Dartmouth($6,000 scholarship per year and free tuition)
University of Vermont
UPENN- deferred

I am still waiting on these
Boston College
Boston University
Bowdoin
Brandeis
Providence College
Stonehill
Washington University in Saint Louis

I want to major in biology then go to an IVY medical school.
Have you ever been to these schools, or do you know anything about them?
any kind of advice would be very helpful! thanks!

for the umass’s i would still have to pay for the fees(which is a lot more than tuition), and room and board.

From the little I’ve heard, UMass has a better reputation than Drexel. The ones you haven’t heard from yet are all better schools (except maybe Stonehill), but you can’t expect to get as good aid from them.

thank you, if anyone else has advice, its greatly appreciated!

Drexel is an up and coming school and is located in the great city of Philadelphia (OK I’m from Philly so possibly biased!). Drexel is unique among the schools you list because it has a coop program where you get job experience. However, it usually takes 5 years to complete the Drexel plan, so it does cost more.

Wash. U is a great school not sure about scholarships but great for chemistry/bio pre med type of majors.

BC & Bowdoin would probably meet your need, if accepted, just my opinion!
Best of luck!

UMass Amherst sounds like your best deal among the schools that have already accepted you. It’s affordable, and the honors program would group you with smart peers. You don’t want to incur a lot of debt if you are going on to medical school, which is normally on your own dime.
