I had never heard of this school before I stumbled upon it on SAIC’s Portfolio Day listing. It has the major my daughter is looking for, Animation & Interactive Media. I’m just concerned it’s rated “C” on Niche and very small. Just curious if anyone has any students that go there and their experience. Not sure it would be worth a visit. Thank you.
I know maybe 5 people who have gone to Montserrat but I live in the area. I go to the gallery shows sometimes. Two of the people I know are very successful gallery artists. One went on to Mass. College of Art for animation. Beverly has changed a lot in recent years and there is more going on. I can’t speak to the ranking/rating.

A college like this would probably not work in the niche ratings. I looked the academics rating is based on reviews from 15 people.
My brother went there years ago and loved his time there. Close enough to Boston, but not in the city.
It is very small. I think it depends on what the student is looking for.

Here is another art school that may not be well known. Lesley moved the Art Institute of Boston to their main campus. I have gone to their gallery shows and talked with students, and see a lot of talent. College of Art & Design | Lesley University
