My daughter has a really low lottery number, and Centre Plaza might be the only option left by the time her number comes up. If you or your student has lived there, can you speak to the pros and cons? It seems very far away from campus, and I believe a meal plan would be required. This means a lot of commuting back and forth for meals, classes, meetings, etc. Any input you have that can help us guide our daughter would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks.

I have a friend whose daughter is there. I’m pretty sure she does not have a meal plan because it is an apartment. She has not experienced any issues with being that far off campus but she has a car. I do know there have been issues getting UPS deliveries because the “guard” will not sign or hold anything and all UPS deliveries (that driver is comfortable leaving) are pretty much just laid on a table inside the area that all residents have access. She has had several UPS packages (minor things) go missing. If the driver is not comfortable leaving a package you must sign for it from the driver as the “guard” will not.
