does anyone here wear polos?

I am an OOS. It doesn’t matter very much. Southern Californians, consider, in a sense, Northern Californians to be “OOSers.” The opposite is true! :stuck_out_tongue:

I am not the most extroverted person. I am a more social form of a tortoise who has completed her hermitage on an imaginary island just outside the Bermuda Triangle. I have managed to secure a base of acquaintances and have conquered a few friendships in the process with little effort - it helps that the first weeks of school consist of rapid conversation in 300-person lecture halls about your origins, hometown, and that sort… more famously - “What is your major?” Assuming you’re on-campus housing-ing, your R/A will most likely make an effort to make you feel at ease in the environment. At least, that’s from my experience. It is their job, you know? Dear haterofhaters… it will be OK for you with even just a tad bit of effort. It’ll be OK!

great…so DWAI?

Yeah DWAI. I’m wearing a polo right now because I wore all my tshirts and haven’t done laundry yet. Plenty of people wear polos. Nobody cares THAT much about clothes at UCLA exccept sorority girls on weekends.

yeah seriously, wear what you wear. I never WAI. Because I am who am I baby!

I LOVE polos

i wear polos.

but seriously. DWAI. as long as you’re not running around naked or in a thong or something, no one cares.

I’m OOS, a transfer, AND I wear polos…screwed…I think so

hahaha, thanx guys, oh, and LaxAttack, im right there with you

Birthday suit > Polos.

Polos are a USC kinda thing. Yeah I wear them but it complements certain habits/hobbies I partake

like snorting coke?

polos = a round of tennis finished with afternoon cocktails and a nice cigar… mmm. not much time for that kind of trivial pursuit

DWAI

i was born in raised in southern california
not that anyone is going to be judging you that harshly, really wear what you want, but most of my guys friends only wear polos when they absolutly have to. then again same goes for like shoes.
if your really care about looking like a “local” maybe not the best choice.
i live on the coast (different world compared to 20 miles inland). so surfing = life. half the guys don’t bother putting on dry shorts and shirts after surfing at lunch, so maybe i’m biased.

hmmm i happen to be from the one coastal part of so cal that’s pretty button down

pink polo with stripes + plaid shorts + rainbows = most frattastic outfit without wearing letters

whats wrong with polos?

Whyistherea3pagethreadaboutpolos?

I really don’t get what the big deal is about polos here… plenty of guys wear it. I don’t think anyone would care. Seriously… you’re a guy. Care less please :)

overworried freshmen who think college life is from a different dimension?

i have no idea…but i really have to say…WHO CARES. Like someone is going to look at you and think wow what’s wrong with this guy hes the only one wearing a polo. I don’t think people will even notice.
