I am taking a class that gives excel homework to do that is provided from MyItLab and it requires to submit at MyItLab also. I actually copied my friend’s work(just two cells out of like 20!) and changed the format, for example let’s say my friend’s work is =D8+D9, I copied it over to my file and changed it to =D9+D8(this is just an example). Will the cheat detection at MyItLab know that I copied this cell from my friend’s? Even though we do not have similarities? I am worried because some people say the cheat detection will know where that cell is originated from which file. I did not copy the whole file and past it to my file. Tell me the truth plz!!
Instead of copying from your friend when you don’t understand, have them explain what they did or go to the professor’s office hours.
Why would you do that? Why not just look at your friends’ file and type the same text into your file? There’s no point of copying/pasting especially if it’s that simple. Or just copy the function onto a word document first or something like that.
