Does anyone know how to order from a sushi menu?

<p>I’m fine with ordering the “plate” of sushi that comes with 10ish pieces but not so much when they give you that little menu with a price of about $5 per type of sushi and ask you for the “quantity.” Anyone experienced in ordering this way? How many pieces usually comes with $5? What does “quantity” mean–number of pieces or the number of sets of pieces…?</p>

<p>For nigiri, an order is two pieces. For maki, a roll is usually cut into six pieces.</p>
