Does applying early help for Carnegie Mellon MSCS?

Here’s what Carnegie says:

The early deadline is November 20, 2024 at 3:00p.m. EST and the regular deadline is December 11, 2024 at 3:00p.m. EST. The only benefit of the early deadline is a reduced application fee. Applications will not be reviewed until after the regular deadline on December 11, 2024.

Does it still help to apply early because it’s demonstrated interest?

Unlikely as they would have said so.

But if you are asking the question, meet the deadline. Then nothing to worry about and you save a few $$.
