Does applying to a school multiple times help or hurt your chances of getting in?

So if you apply once in high school, then try to transfer there after going to community college for two year and then apply again for graduate school. Does that help you because it shows that school that you are really interested in them or does it hurt you because the school grows tired of your consent failed attempts?

Graduate and Undergraduate are separate, so whether or not you applied as a high schooler won’t matter to the graduate school.

Transferring by itself will make things much, much harder. Transfer acceptance rates are generally much lower than the freshman admit rate.

One thing is that some colleges will keep your application for a couple of years, so to reapply, you probably need something outstanding or unique about you that is different from the stuff you put on your high school application.
