Does applying to the School of Education affect my chances, which are classified as a

My junior year, I had a 3.3 unweighted gpa, and my chances of getting in looked poor.

At this point, I have received my SAT scores, (1970 overall, 590 in Math, 690 in Reading, 690 in writing), and my unweighted gpa is a 3.67 (3.9 weighted).

My extracurriculars are pretty good (internationally read music blog, a 5 year job that connects with my major of choice, a youth program, a Student Ambassador, and in Student School Publications) I don’t have the best gpa, but so far it’s fair. (btw, to anyone who doesn’t know, USC counts the unweighted gpa when making application decisions)

Going to USC is so important to me - it’s the only campus (out of the many I’ve visited) that I have felt truly happy and comfortable on. I am willing to go the transfer route, but for the next few months, should I be panicking or not think about it? My school of choice is the one of Education, will that affect my admission?

I applied to USC as well! At first I was panicking and worrying about my test scores and how I stacked up against previous admittees and current applicants. I’m now relaxed and calm about it because I convinced myself that everything is going toturn out for the best. If I get accepted, that’s great! If I don’t, that’s okay too because I have backup schools that I can consider! I hope you get accepted and good luck! Don’t worry about it! Just focus on your senior year and relax! :-)

SarBee-- to my knowledge, USC’s Rossier School of Education only offers admissions to graduate students, not undergrad, so your question has me puzzled. Have you checked all this out?
