<p>DECA is a famous business organizational club (look them up on Wikipedia) and for someone who wants to major in business administration at Cornell, does being a state DECA qualifier for business management and administration greatly boost my chances of getting in?</p>

<p>Doubtful…not sure why but DECA is not considered a “formative competition” by admissions reps around the country…</p>
<p>was told that when D applied in 2008 by many colleges…and she placed…in both states and nationals…</p>
<p>That being said, she has found that DECA was one of the most helpful things she did in high school for her presentation skills…</p>
