does being jewish help?

Many colleges try to diversify their student body by accepting students of minority status - usually being Jewish doesn’t count (i.e. it won’t help at schools like Cornell and Penn because they both have a large number of Jewish students). However, I heard Vandy is making an effort to get more Jewish students - is the same true for Dartmouth because Jewish students make up only about 10% of the student body? Basically, since Dartmouth has a very small amount of Jewish students, can that help in the admissions process?

it will neither help or hurt you in the admissions process
