<p>I am in the middle of a refi. My lender is asking why there were several inquiries on my credit in February. They can see the name of the bank doing the inquiries, but not the reason. This happened to be right after I submitted the CSS Profile. I have no idea why the inquiries are there.</p>
<p>Does the CSS Profile trigger credit inquiries? Do colleges themselves check credit?</p>
