I am about to fill out the CSS form for the second time and I didn’t save a copy from last year. Will it pre-populate data from last year or can you order a transcript of the previous year’s form? I am trying to avoid starting from scratch.
Lesson learned: always save copies of stuff like this. Most of the important financial data will need to be updated, so I’m not sure how much help it would be to refer to a previous year’s version. If my memory is correct (low odds), if anything auto-populated from the previous year, it was only the biographical information (student’s name, DOB, etc.).
