Does Curtis/Penn dual degree exist?

I read online that Penn had a similar dual degree program with Curtis like Columbia/Julliard and Harvard/NEC. I want to apply to Penn but I really love music and so I’m really hoping there’s a way I can still continue studying music if I apply/go there.
Anyone know about this? I looked on Penn’s wikipedia page and there was no mention of it, but that’s not a surprise.

Bump! Did you end up going?

I’m not aware that there is any joint degree program. I believe there is some sort of cross-registration program, but it really only goes one way (Curtis students taking a course at Penn), and even then it’s not much used (Curtis students don’t have a lot of time to do things that don’t relate directly to their musical training).

Because everyone at Curtis is essentially on a full ride or close to it, it’s probably the most selective conservatory in this hemisphere. It’s not a place for half-time students – unless they’re spending the other half of their time performing around the world. If you are good enough to get into Curtis, you have real choices to make, but splitting time between Curtis and Penn isn’t likely to be one of them.

That said, there are many students at Penn who are serious musicians, some conservatory quality (without necessarily being Curtis quality). They study music at Penn, some as music majors and some not. They have lots of performance and ensemble opportunities. There are lots of ways to have lessons. Penn is a pretty great place to be a musician. I gather there are some issues with the college orchestra, though. Look up posts by waywardtrojan (I think that’s the name).
