Hi currently my gpa is slightly over a 2.0 And this quarter I’m worried it will drop below 2.0 because of the worst professor ever. I’m terrified if I will pass and stay above 2.0 I took out a direct sub loan I believe. Do they have gpa requirements? Can I still get my loan?? I only heard that you need to be at least be enrolled half time. That’s all I’ve found. I just Ned to get a loan or at least hopefully the one I already have to pay for school. At least for this semester to improve my gpa above a 2.0 to get my financial aid back the following semester. I’m stressing and can’t sleep until I know I’ll still be safe with my loan. Please help.
Why don’t you use this energy to motivate yourself to improve in school instead of wasting your time fretting? Sheesh.
In order to continue to qualify for federal loans you have to meet SAP requirements. Look in your student handbook for your college Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements, should be online. That will tell you the gpa and completion units necessary to maintain loan eligibility.
