<p>I found caffine from drinking diet coke became a bit of a ritual at college studying art so now puts me in the frame of mind to create but it’s more of a pavlovian response. </p>
<p>Otherwise, I need to be getting stimulation by buiding up my visual knowledge. Shop fronts, signs, art galleries, art online, reading about whatever non art subject I’m currently interested in. A trip to my favourite big city is my favourite way of doing most of this in one day. I never fail to be inspired in some way or other.</p>
