Does early action or early decision increase admission chances?

<p>Some of my options (uMiami, uGeorgia, USanDiego, USCarolina, UNC, etc.) have early action at their school. All of these are somewhat difficult to get into in their own ways. Does early action increase chances at any of these schools? If not all?</p>
