Does electronics class count as math for recommendation letters?

I asked my digital electronics teacher for a rec letter, but I’m not sure if his letter counts as math. It’s under the math section in my transcript, but it isn’t exactly a math class.

Usually colleges want to see LORs from core subjects.

thanks for that. I’m applying to electrical engineering major which is why I really want my digital electronics rec letter to go to colleges, but it’s not really core math. that stinks :frowning:
