and does everyone who visit, get a parking ticket.

To the second question, yes :P

If you were there today, we didn’t get good weather in our defense. Also, I think one of Brown’s major strengths is our student body, which doesn’t get shown off on campus visits very well if the tour guide isn’t the most awesome.

I disliked my initial campus visit too. It was meeting with faculty that was the deciding factor for me.

Parking tickets are frequent…the enforcement is always around, making sure people aren’t overstaying in a spot…even faculty have trouble, sometimes.

Definitely got a parking ticket while we were there, even though we moved our car. guess moving it up two spaces doesn’t count.

I visited in the summer when the campus was fairly empty so I felt like I didn’t get the whole picture and that I didn’t get to engage with the most important part - the student body.

I’m returning next week, though, and look forward to a great Brown experience!

If you’re heading back next week, there’s a public parking garage down on South Main by the public health building. Its not the one directly under the building, but just before it. You’ll have to walk up a hill to the main campus, but it beats getting another ticket.
