Does Facebook (and CC)make you jealous?

The food that particular friend posts isnt blog-worthy. Nor are the table decorations. I do like good food and decorating blog sites. Those photos are usually carefully styled.

@massdad68:
Your thought mirrors mine, thank you for saying what I feel. We made a lot of sacrifices, my wife was SAHM with our son so whatever I brought in was all we had, it meant sacrificing a lot of things other might think are important, but looking at the person my son has become and is still becoming, it is worth it. I need to pay down a mortgage in a relatively short period and have some catching up to do with retirement savings, but I don’t regret it. Sure, there are things I would love to do and do going forward, but nothing stops me from dreaming.

Mostly, I just check out facebook to connect with folks I love. It’s nice to see what’s going on in their lives, especially when we don’t chat or get together often enough. I’m content with my life and choices so honestly am not jealous of choices and lives of others. Most of my friends and loved ones have had their share of struggles as well, and I’ve no idea which ones are in debt up to their eyeballs and don’t really want to know.
