Does general education count for more than one degree?

Hello,

Right now I am working on my Bachelor’s in Cognitive Studies at an online college because I am in the military and it is a lot more convenient. I plan on getting out in about a year to attend a university. I was hoping to start a graduate program for cognitive studies or neuroscience but, I need a lot of research experience to even think about applying to the schools I want to go to. After a few months of just holding still and working on my current degree I have started to become extremely interested in nutritional science. I was wondering if I could use the general education classes that I have already completed, or at least the ones that apply to the degree, for credit towards completion of another bachelors degree.

Most schools have general ed requirements that students of any major need to fulfill. So they are likely to be the same for CS and NS, but if you have a college in mind, check with them to see what they require.
