<p>How heavily does george mason look at alumini relationship in an applicant? I mean they ask for it on the application, but I want to see how much they look at that. I am pretty average student in high school, taken a decent amount of AP classes. Will an alumini help me a little bit more of being admitted to GMU? </p>

<p>I think it is something most colleges consider but not in a big way. It would only help if you were borderline and needed that tiny bit to tip you over into the “yes” pile. Not sure GMU handles it any differently than any other college. Better to put your effort into the things you have more control over, like your grades and essays. Good luck!</p>
