I am taking 4 AP Classes this year: Calc BC, Physics 1, APES, AP Lang
Next year there are 4 offered but I am only taking 3: Physics C, Chemistry, Literature
Does a slight drop in AP Classes weaken my application?

Aiming for high tier UC + USC
You’ll be fine, these are tough AP’s, 3 is enough. In other words, if you get rejected, it won’t be because you didn’t max out on AP’s.
Update: Physics C got canceled so I am doing APCSP instead… does same logic apply?
Is it safe to assume that CSP was the one offered that you weren’t previously taking? So now you’re taking everything available?
Assuming your school profile/counselor provides data that this is all that is available, taking every AP offered certainly won’t be held against you. AOs take into account what is offered/available.
