<p>DC++ is a peer to peer network you load the program and connect to servers with people around the world… why would GT students need to have their own server… i suppose you can download it and search for georgetown see if they do</p>

<p>A lot of colleges in my area have their own local servers for the campus that you get automatically when you plug into the network. I don’t know anything about the program other than that.</p>
<p>i’ve used direct connect occasionally, but i only connect to the really large networks, i’m not sure if any exclusively Georgetown networks exist.</p>
