I wasn’t sure if Harvard actually looked at Regents scores because the only students who take Regents are students who live in New York and California. How important are Regents scores to Harvard?

I’m pretty sure the answer is a big, emphatic: NO.

I don’t think they are important at all. But since they probably appear on the transcript they are going to see them. In our school they count as a fifth marking period so they have an effect on your GPA and class rank.

They are not considered at all. However, if your regents scores appear on your transcript, a low score might catch the eye. Other than that, they are irrelevant.

yeah, so what’s considered a “low” score?

Generally since regents exams are very easy I would think that Harvard applicants would have all As. But since they don’t really matter for admissions I think the only thing that would be bad would be a regents score much lower than your grade in a class, since that might signal to the reader that the class was not very rigorous. So if you got a 98 in AP US History and an 85 on the American History regents, the AP class does not look very rigorous.
