Does having a 2240 SAT score make me a "competitive applicant"

I know a lot of people get annoyed about people asking “is this score good enough”, so I’m sorry. But when I took my SAT I scored 690 CR, 750 M, and 800 in writing. My score is pretty high because of my perfect score in writing, but i don’t think my 690 in CR makes me a competitive applicant. I’m thinking of applying to highly selective schools, and while my composite score of 2240 may make me seem “competitive”, most schools don’t even care about the writing section, so all they’ll care about is my 690CR and 750M. Should I retake, or am I stressing for no reason?

Yes, you’re competitive. The CR score may not compare well to some applicants, of course, and that may even be a difference maker, but you’ll be considered at even the most selective schools.

Thank you marvin100! That’s very reassuring.
