does having set up a company boost your ECs?

<p>I dont know how much it helps when I’m the founder of my own company doing printing and publishing of books, do you guys have any idea?</p>

<p>oh well i founded this company to print books that people wrote, selling them for charity and raising funds for the community. basically it’s not for profit and i got a factory to print them, and the company’s registered with the govt.</p>

<p>I am the founder of a technology corporation. Its not registered with the government; its kind of dormant.I am going to start on it after two months or so.
Currently, we are planning to build a wind turbine. We earn money by teaching.
Would it look good in the resume?</p>

<p>I think it’d help. Let’s think about it…it looks unique. An admissions officer poring through thousands of applicants is not going to find companies in most of them, is he?
More importantly, we are living for our passion, so that must help</p>
