When applying to your #1 school choices and other schools do you IB diploma earners believe IB helped you get into the college of your choice?

I’m currently at a crossroad whether or not to take IB (in order to have the “IB” name on my college applications) or just go take Honors & have easier workload yet same GPA capabilites.
Any help appreciated (:

That answers your question. If one choice is known to be easy, and the other choice is known to be hard, choose the hard path.

I was just at a college information session last night, featuring five highly selective colleges. Parents and students asked about the comparison between AP, IB, and dual enrollment in college. Colleges don’t have any brand name preference for HOW you challenge yourself, but they do expect you to challenge yourself. If you’re not willing to take on challenges while in high school, why should the college assume you’ll take on challenges when you get into college?
