<p>Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, but my parents said a business casual top for me (a girl) should have buttons. However, I think I look stupid in cardigan sweaters because they fit me very poorly, so would a nice blouse and dress pants be okay?</p>
<p>Pants and a blouse are absolutely fine. You won’t be judged on what you wear unless you’re obviously sloppy or way too casual.</p>
<p>My wife laughed when I showed her this. You’ll be fine. I, for one, would never notice the absence or presence of any or no buttons. LOL</p>
<p>I typically do a nice top (which can just be a nice sweater top), and I have a blazer as well that I’ll typically wear to interviews.</p>
