Well I received an email from SUNY Binghamton for “Admitted Student Open House” but I never received an email/letter notifying me about my admission itself. Does it mean that I got into Binghamton?

Sounds like a telephone call to Binghamton would yield you the best information, no?

The office of admissions don’t work on Saturdays.

[sarcasm]
My guess is they want to rub it in your face by admitting you to an Admitted Student Open House while not actually admitting you. This is so that you can see how great it would have felt being admitted and to make you feel really really bad that you weren’t.

My guess is that they were mailed by different offices and got crossed in the mail. But it’s just a guess. Monday morning, call the admissions office. Congratulations on getting invited to the Admitted Students Open House :-)

@above haha I hope that’s not the case. That would pretty cruel wouldn’t it? I’ve only received to open house by admitted colleges so far so I hope this means I got in. And thank you.
