<p>…to have a teacher mention in their rec that a specific school is your first choice?
The school I have in mind (Duke) is my first choice, and I want to show some indication that I would go there even if I didn’t apply ED. At the very least it can’t hurt right?</p>
<p>I don’t see why it would help. I mean, the point of teacher recommendations is to get a professional evaluation of how good of a student you are, not to test your commitment.</p>
