If I decided to take a French 101 (introductory) class despite having already taken French in high school, does that look bad to colleges? I was planning on taking a community college class as a high school student, but I don’t want to appear as though I’m trying to take an easy class.
If you’ve only had one or two years of high school French, that’s probably the right placement, as long as you continue with the next segment (102) for a complete sequence. If you had three or more years, then yes it’d look like you’re trying to pad your schedule/GPA.
Nonetheless youll still get college credit for the intro course.
