Does it make a difference whether I took a class for college credit or not?

I want to do everything I can to be a competitive applicant for top, second, and third tier schools. I have taken several college courses; however, many of them were through my high school and I did not take them for college credit. Particularly, I took Composition II, College Algebra, and Calculus through a joint program between my high school and local community college. Is the fact that I only took them for high school credit, and did not pay for college credit, going to affect how competitive I am perceived? Purely for the sake of admissions (I’m not concerned with whether the courses will transfer or not), would my application be more desirable had I taken the said courses for dual credit?

It does not matter.
