Does it matter what college you go to?

My problem is choosing between Queen’s University (in Canada) and George Mason. George Mason is good with computing and great all around academically. But it really lacks in the social scene/college experience, which Queen’s has. I think that for undergrad it doesn’t really matter where you go (except if its a really good college) as long as you get good grades it doesn’t make a difference for a future job. So i’m leaning towards Queen’s to get the college experience. Your thoughts?

I am generally unfamiliar with Canadian Us. Ask Queen’s U where they have been able to place graduates.

I’m unfamiliar w/ Canada’s as well but a general rule of thumb I followed whilst looking at all schools is to see what resources the school offers, such as alumni networking for jobs in the future as it can help you after grad school as well.

The “college experience” is somewhat valuable and fun but I’d advise you to look in the long-run, like which place will benefit me more after I graduate?
