Some of my apps are due 1/1/13, so does it matter if I send my scores now or like 12/28, I am getting the quick shipping method, but I am concerned that say I send them now, do the schools discriminate if they don’t think a score is very good when they receive them prior to an app being submitted? thank you!

You should chk to see if it means anything at all to quick ship them. Many colleges say don’t do it – that it’s a ripoff since it’s all a data transfer anyway.

You pay the SAT delivery fee, SAT sends it to the college. Takes .8 seconds.

“do the schools discriminate if they don’t think a score is very good when they receive them prior to an app being submitted?”

You are WAY overthinking this…

It takes a few weeks for them to get there (we discovered this when sending D2’s a couple of months ago). SAT does not send them right away (it does not take “.8 seconds” – it takes that for College Board to collect your money! But not to actually get them there, and then depending on the college it might take them a few days to load them into their system evern after they have been sent). Send them NOW.

I think colleges don’t really review your app until it is complete. So your app will sit there while they ooh and ahh over other candidates if the scores are late. But if the scores are early (and low), I don’t think it makes any difference.

Send them anytime before the date (1/1). I still havent sent mine. Im waiting on December ACT results.

It doesnt matter when you send your score as long its not like much later than the deadline. After 1/1/13 is okay. But not like 2/1/12. I sent mine and it took them a few days for them to send it and the colleges got it by like the 5th or 6th day at most.
