Does it matter which one of these engineering schools i transfer too?

University of Pittsburgh

Arizona state

Iowa state

Temple university
5.drexel university

Does it matter? as far as employment is concerned? Im currently a community college student and am going to switch my major. here is a list of classes i will be completing in CC.

spring 2011:

intermediate algebra remedial 0 credits but hacc says 3
strategic reading3 remedial a0 credits hacc lists 3
business law 1 3 credits
English comp 1 3 credits

Summer 2011:
college algebra 3 credits not listed as remedial but am unsure
trigonometry 3 credits
psychology 1 3 credits

Fall 2011:
pre calc 4 credits
chem 101 4 credits
physics 211 4 credits

spring 2012:
calc 1 4 credits
linear algebra 4 credits
chem 102 4 credits

summer 2012:
calc 2 4 credits
physics 212 4 credits

fall 2012:
calc 3 4credits
CPS 135 3 credits
intro to sociology 3 credits

im thinking of getting rid of the sociology and psychology and doing 2 years of french instead… and another year of english compisition that way i can meet the requirements for the university of illinois urbana which i know is very competitive, but its worth a shot. Im a GED student from Russia. My extracurriculars include flying im a student pilot and by the time i transfer i will have a few certificates in that. i plan on majoring in environmental engineer or civil engineering.

It definitely matters which university you transfer to for engineering. You should research which universities have the highest ranked environmental/civil engineering programs.
