Does it matter?

Hey, I was just wondering.

In application process, should I mention about the number of obligatory subjects I have to learn in secondary school ? It’s really hard to maintain a perfect average grade as I have to prepare individually for SAT though. ( There are no courses in Poland, nobody has ever heard about it )

In my high school for example, which is considered as an elite school in the location, I have to attend 14 subjects + 1 additional, which duty is a real time-eater.

Naturally, I do my best and I’m going to finish with something about 4,7-5.2/6.0

Thanks for help!

Poland ??? that is on the other side of the ocean …

Mention all the courses you are taking and mention that they are all mandatory. I don’t recommend [you] writing about the “time eating” aspect of the classes. I was in the same situation as you some months ago, since in Brazil we only have mandatory courses in high school and I was the only student in my class to apply to universities outside the country; I had my counselor to write about the school profile and explain the context of my academic performance, which was, in my opinion, the best way to address the matter.

I am surprised you even know what actually POLAND is :D

Thank you, Sandro.
Did you apply for a financial aid, and eventually got accepted to the college?

I only applied to Finaid in need-based colleges. So far I’ve been accepted to Purdue, University of Michigan and University of Illinois (without applying to Finaid). If you need further help, send me a PM and we can discuss your situation more thoroughly.
