Hello!
So, I have 4 apps due Friday! Woohoo!
One of the apps says: in a half page or roughly 250 words for word count
Can I go over 250 since they said “roughly”?
Does it really matter?
Is this going to hurt my chances?

Does it? 10c

Keep it around 250. Don’t do 400+.

There’s a reason why it’s roughly 250; they want to test if you can write a solid short answer. I’d say anywhere from 200-300 would be good. If you’re at 350, I’d try and minimize it a tad. Otherwise, you’re fine.

It won’t hurt your chances unless you are at like <100 or 400+. Even then I doubt it would significantly.

If it says “roughly”, then going a few words over definitely won’t hurt your chances. Make your essay about a half page long- you should know when to stop.

Is 350 okay? It’s such a well written essay I can’t cut anymore

I think that would be okay
Are you sure it can’t be like 325-310? I think that might be better
