<p>does iWork come standard on MacBooks like iLife ? ifit doesn’t which one should I purchase iWork or microsoft office for mac? or both?! :)</p>

<p>no it doesnt. its cheaper than office but its more a matter of preference than usability</p>

<p>iWork is excellent but I recommend waiting until you get to college and see what their computer situation is before you buy it.</p>

<p>Although there’s no question that Microsoft Office is overall more powerful than iWork (excel kills numbers, although they’re really for different purposes – excel is for spreadsheets, numbers is for creating number-based documents for presentation), i prefer iWork for it’s ease-of-use and simplicity.</p>
