Recently, I learnt that prep schools limit the number of schools a senior can apply to. Is that the case with Lawrenceville as well?
That was not the case at my sons’ schools, but also they had no interest in applying to tons of schools (one applied to 6, the next to 10, and the last to 1). Why not ask Lawrenceville’s college counseling office?
My kid is a graduating senior at Lawrenceville this year and there was no limit on college applications. I’m unaware of any plans to restrict this in the near term but I concur with @cinnamon1212 that it is a good question to confirm with the school. Since March 10 is so close, maybe it’s a good question for admitted students day?
If the high school has good college counseling with respect to colleges that the student is interested in, the student may not need to apply to a huge number of colleges.
