My father graduated from Stanford for his MBA. If I were to apply there for an MBA, would I have an advantage because of this legacy? thanks.

I’ve wondered the same thing, afraid I don’t have an answer though.

And what about close relations attending another school within the University, med school, UG, law school, etc… Or perhaps teaching at the institution but, again, not the b-school?

A parent having graduated from Stanford GSB makes you a legacy there and you do get a boost, but I don’t believe a grandparent does.
