Hello! I am a rising undergraduate junior starting to prepare for the grad school admission process. I have already noticed some applications require having a specific major GPA. I am majoring in Communication Management & Design with a concentration in Communication Design. My degree is split into 30 core credits, 3 supplemental credits (for professional writing proficency), and 18-19 concentration credits. When calculating my Major GPA, would I just include the core credits and the supplemental, or include concentration as well? This may seem like a silly question, but I can’t find the answer to this elsewhere. Thanks!
Contact the major advisor or graduate coordinator at the schools/programs you are looking at. Each school/program has slightly different policies about this so you’re going to be better off just asking them individually.
