<p>Caltech doesn’t offer merit scholarships any more. And Caltech doesn’t admit people based on major either, so your “it’s true math girls are easier to get into Caltech” is just false on those grounds alone. And USAMO never guaranteed merit money even when merit scholarships were offered, considering I know several people who did USAMO, and definitely received no merit money. </p>
