<p>Yes. Anything you do outside of school hours is extracurricular.</p>

<p>Don’t do muay thai because of college apps, just don’t. Ever taken a low kick from a muay thai expert? It hurts like hell. And it doesn’t even come close to the pain factor of a nice knee to the liver. I would never do it just for college.</p>
<p>Of course there are less painful EC out there but I primarily want to do it for the new experience and that it might be fun (yes yes i know the risks).</p>

Yes, it does count as an EC. Don’t forget to include your training outside of a classes (Such as weight lifting, and shadow boxing)</p>
