I just took Mulford’s infamous exam and kinda did pretty bad on it! Does he curve it at the end of the semester? I am a premed and even though I am pretty good with tests, that one test just killed me! Please tell me he curves his grades, or at least does something to the lowest test score!

nah

first test lol i dropped the class tuesday

No he doesn’t but remember you still have 3 more exams, homework, and lab to curve your grade. And to be honest I don’t even know why the 1st exam average is so low, most of it is straight review from hs AP or IB chem (which a good portion of the class already took in hs, even if they didn’t get credit on the ap exam), and even those who didn’t do AP or IB chem should already have experience with many of the concepts in a normal hs chemistry class.

Urghhh! I am so disappointed, but I guess with lots of hard work, I could catch up! I didn’t take AP or IB chem at all since my high school didn’t offer it, and my regular chem class in high school was horrible. My teacher quit in the beginning of the year so we had a substitute for the rest of the year who let us watch videos all day. Plus I had chem (what little chem I had) in 10th grade Guess I have to change the way I study!
