Does "multiple" look really bad on your application?

I got a 90th percentile on my SSAT, which I see as really mediocre and I was thinking to retake it. However, after my interview they told us that I shouldn’t waste my time taking it over because I’m already in the scholarship group…Idk because my parents would definitely not pay full tuition for a private day school unless if i have scholarship. So…I made the decision to not retake it, after all “multiple” might look bad. Did I do the right thing?

If they told you it’s fine at 90% it is. 90% is a great score. Getting it up higher won’t make or break your application vs. 90%. After, that it will come down to your recommendations, grades, application, ECs, etc.

Thanks creative. I’m really hoping for an academic scholarship.

Best of luck to you! :)

I heard 90’s range pretty much gets grouped together, so it’s perfectly fine

If you think 90th percentile is mediocre, I’d hate to see what you think is bad! 90% is great, don’t think of it as mediocre. Don’t bother taking it again, test scores aren’t everything.

Is 80th percentile in that category or it is just 90th percentile?
