Does my ACT score help/hurt my chances...?

<p>I am a junior…I was hoping to apply to places like Northwestern, Tufts, WashU…etc</p>

<p>on my SAT i got 2140 (CR: 740, W:730, M:670)…and i was thinking about taking again in march, because my math isn’t really up to par</p>

<p>on the ACT i got a composite 33 (E: 35, M:32, R:34, S:31…essay: 9). im not sure if i should take ACT again</p>

<p>my gpa is a 3.9 but will probably drop a little and should end up around a 3.8ish and I’m in APs and honors classes…</p>

<p>Does my ACT help my chances at all for getting into the schools listen above?</p>
