As of today, my D’s school still has not submitted anything for her National Merit Semifinalist Application. Her school has 7 semifinalists. She asked them about it last week, and then again today. Is she out of the running if they don’t submit info today? So beyond frustrated as some of her list specifically targets NMF awards.
I called them and they told me that they give the schools a few days and if they don’t hear from the school, they’ll call the school themselves to follow up.

@slaudsmom I called today cause our school has been closed for a week due to Hurr Matthew and will not reopen til Monday. NM said it was fine. They will accept it late from schools as long as student has done their part
